overall i give this game 7/10. its a solid and charming platformer, yet it borrows a little too much from other games in the genre (well he is a bandit, I wouldent be surprised he steals abilities from other video game characters lol) and the story, plot, and backstory are near nonexistent with me the player expected to just "roll with it" (like I said, very arcade/old school like) but other than that, its an insanely fun and challenging game.
not to sound like i'm nitpicking, but world building is important if you want to give your game the sense of adventure and scale you were aiming at (you think fierce should have a spaceship for getting to other planets instead of just magically teleporting everywhere, which would also open up the possibility of ship based galaga style shooter levels.)
hope the world of fierce the bandit get expanded upon in newer games, perhaps in a more exploration based sequel, because I have a lot of questions and this world of yours has ALOT of potential.
